Ways You Can Serve God

We all want purpose, and God gives us eternal purpose: love Him fully and love others as ourselves (Matthew 22:37–39). Serve God by serving others for His cause.

“When the Son of Man comes in His glory… He will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom… for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ … ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” — Matthew 25:31-40

Examples include feeding the hungry, visiting persecuted Christians, and giving clothes. The idea is to help people in need for eternal purposes, not just humanitarianism.

What’s more motivating than impacting lives with eternal rewards? Other purposes don’t last; invest in eternity.
